Leicester City have been handed a massive injury blow with Wilfred Ndidi set to be on the sidelines for the remainder of the season.
Ndidi underwent surgery after picking up a knee injury during Leicester’s Europa Conference Leasgt last-16, second leg tie with Rennes this month.
Speaking to the press, Brendan Rodgers revealed the Super Eagles ace will not be able to feature for the Foxes again this season.
“It’s unfortunate. He’s been a brilliant player for me in my time here. He picked up a nasty injury that has had to have surgery on and he’ll recover now until June,” he said.
The 25-year-old has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Leicester this season, scoring two goals.
