Frank Lampard and the Everton players did not appear to go too close to the travelling fans on Wednesday night following their dramatic defeat to Burnley at Turf Moor – judging by a video posted on Twitter by Liverpool Echo journalist Adam Jones.The Toffees are in serious, serious trouble in the battle to stay in the Premier League. They went behind after 12 minutes with Nathan Collins scoring from a corner. Once again, the defending from the visitors was extremely poor.By half-time however, Everton had turned the game around. Both Anthony Gordon and Vitaliy Mykolenko won penalties for the Toffees. Jay Rodriguez equalised just before the hour-mark. And Maxwel Cornet found the back of the net in the 85th minute to seal the win.It is a terrifying result for Everton. It has been well-documented that Frank Lampard’s side face a daunting run up until the end of the campaign.
