Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has offered support for teammate Mohamed Salah after Egypt was knocked out of the World Cup qualifiers.
Van Dijk has further backed the winger to turn the disappointment into success with the Merseyside club, who are chasing a quadruple.
The north African nation were knocked out by Senegal, with Salah’s other teammate, Sadio Mane, scoring the winning penalty for the African champions.
“I am sure he will turn the disappointment into success for the rest of the season. We still have everything to play for so, there are a lot of things still to achieve for him,” Van Dijk said as per Mail Online.
