But on a free transfer, it could be a fantastic piece of business. Certainly, not many sides in the Premier League will boast a better understudy than Spurs. He was ‘outstanding‘ while West Brom were last in the top-flight. And if he kicks on, he could well be a decent replacement for Lloris in the years to come.
