Nottingham Forest will face Huddersfield Town at Wembley for a place in the Premier League after beating Sheffield United in their semi-final second leg on Tuesday on penalties.
Forest took a 2-1 lead victory in the first leg at Bramall Lane and Sheffield United needed to overcome the deficit in order to book a spot in the final play-off. Brennan Johnson gave Sheffield the lead inside 19 minutes of play before Morgan Gibbs-White drew the visitors draw in the 47th minute.
John Fleck scored the second goal for Sheffield to send the tie to extra time with both teams holding tight for a penalty shootout.
From the spot, Samba did an amazing job as he saved penalties from Oliver Norwood, Conor Hourihane and Gibbs-White as his side won 3-2 on penalties to end their play-off win hoodoo.
Forest march on to face Huddersfield Town at Wembley following their win over Luton.
