Man City boss Pep Guardiola has dismissed reports he has been offered the chance to take his “dream” first step into international football.
Reports emerged on Thursday that Guardiola has been offered the Brazil national team coach role, with Samba Boys willing to pay him £10m per year to become their new manager.
According to reports, Brazil have set its sights on Guardiola to take over the managerial role after the 2022 World Cup.
“Not today, come on,” he said in his press conference on Friday.
“I’m under contract here, I’m so happy. I’m willing to stay forever here. I’d extend the contract ten years but now is not the moment. I don’t know where it’s come from.”
Guardiola’s contract at the Manchester club runs until 2023 and is yet to commit.
