Jurgen Klopp won his 160th Premier League match on Saturday, as Liverpool defeated Watford 2-0.
Diogo Jota and Fabinho’s goals secured a simple victory in the German’s 250th league game in command of the Reds.
No Liverpool manager has ever won that many matches in their first 250 games, with Kenny Dalglish’s 150 wins in 250 games comfortably exceeded earlier this season by Klopp.
As a result, Klopp reaches the benchmark faster than many of his colleagues. Jose Mourinho (158), Sir Alex Ferguson (152), and Arsene Wenger have won fewer games in their first 250 games as managers.
Liverpool won their eleventh consecutive Premier League match, becoming only the second team in the tournament to do it five times, after Manchester City.
The Reds reclaimed the Premier League lead, although Manchester City retook it against Burnley.
