Is the season over for Kieran Tierney?

by Vibecity

Arsenal have suffered a severe injury setback with the news that left-back Kieran Tierney may be sidelined for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
The 24-year-old was not part of Arsenal’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Monday night following his return from international duty with Scotland with knee soreness.
Tierney played the whole 90 minutes for the Tartan Army in friendlies against Poland and Austria last week, but returned to London with worries about the injury, and the Daily Mail reports that he may be sidelined for the season.
Speaking to Sky Sports News in his post-match interview, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said: “[Tierney] came back from international duty and felt something wrong in his knee.
“He felt something in training, had a scan and there’s damage there. We will hopefully know more on Tuesday but it’s not looking good.”
Tierney has made 25 outings for the Gunners this season, scoring once and assisting on three occasions.
Arsenal are also concerned about midfielder Thomas Partey’s fitness following his forced exit in the 75th minute at Selhurst Park with what seemed to be a muscular injury.
