Newcastle United will be able to wrap up their 2021-22 Premier League campaign safe in the knowledge they’ll be in the competition next season.On 21 January, the day before the Magpies headed to Leeds United, they were 19th in the table and had won just once in the league all season.Now, Newcastle sit 12th in the standings, 11 points clear of the bottom three. Newcastle have got a really exciting player on their hands with him. He came in and he’s been phenomenal.”Admittedly, Anderson is not eligible to take part in the match.As he has been out on loan and is returning outside of the transfer window, he is not permitted to feature in any first-team match until the transfer window reopens.Nonetheless, it’s great to see him involved in training and Howe will no doubt be taking a closer look ahead of pre-season.
