Erik ten Hag fires warning to Cristiano Ronaldo

by Vibecity

Erik ten Hag has stated that he will confront any player who does not contribute to the team’s success.
Ten Hag was appointed as the club’s next manager on Thursday, although he will remain at Ajax until the end of the season before going to Old Trafford permanently this summer.
When questioned about his ability to manage talents like Cristiano Ronaldo, the Dutchman stressed that he will be strict with all players regardless of their rank.
“I think I can, but I will stay myself in that. I won’t change my vision. I will tell them their task and whoever does not meet those tasks will hear that from me, no matter who it is,” Ten Hag told Trouw.
Ronaldo has been in fine scoring form for Manchester United in 2021-22, netting 21 goals in 34 games during his second stay with the club.
The Portugal international is under contract at Old Trafford until next June, with an option for a further year, but his future at the club remains unknown.
Man United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick reportedly stated that the club may sign ten new players this summer as part of a rebuilding effort.
