Tottenham defender Eric Dier was an unhappy man after playing his part in a 0-0 draw at Brentford this evening.Spurs knew the pressure was on to win the game after Arsenal hammered Manchester United earlier in the day. But in a bizarre type of performance, Tottenham never got going and created nothing of note until a late Harry Kane overhead kick nearly snatched it.Photo by Stu Forster/Getty ImagesAntonio Conte was unhappy with some aspects of the performance at the end. And so too was Dier, who spoke to the media after the game and appeared to criticise the entire first XI for not producing when it mattered.“I don’t think we created enough chances and our play wasn’t very fluid as it usually is and has become under the manager. I saw we had no shots on target again for two weeks in a row. It’s not just the forward players, we need to give them the ball in the right positions. We’re really disappointed,” Dier told Sky (via the BBC).HITC Sport’s First New Signing REVEALED“It’s not what we expect after the way we’ve been attacking and the amount of chances we’ve been creating and scoring. We’ve not been as flued in our play, not got in good positions and been sloppy in our play.”It was the second game in a row where Tottenham have failed to register attempts on goal. Weirdly, it comes off the back of Spurs being free-scoring for a number of weeks, with Kane, Son and Kulusevski being among the goals.TBR’s View: Tottenham Have To Up It Now To Beat ArsenalSpurs fans must get so frustrated at times. Just when it looks like they’ve cracked it, they go on these mini blips and seem back to square one.Today was poor. There’s no two-ways about it.
