Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is set to join Real Madrid in the summer after he completed his medical tests.
Rudiger agreed to join Madrid in the summer on a free transfer having rejected the chance to stay at Chelsea beyond this season. The Germany international is set to join the Los Blancos on July 1 on a four-year deal understood to be worth €400,000 (£342,000) per week, per Sky Sports.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed last month that Rudiger would not be re-signing with the club.A number of clubs across Europe were interested in Rudiger, including Barcelona, PSG, and Manchester United.
However, the 29-year-old was flattered by Real’s interest and will now move to the Spanish capital.
