The Super Eagles goalkeeper was restored back in between the sticks for his Dutch side, Sparta Rotherdam, as they went toe to toe with Eredivisie campaigners, SBV Vitesse, in one of Matchday (17) played on Sunday afternoon.
SBV Vitesse had their hands full in their quest to uphold it’s place in the Dutch Top-flight League as they paid a visit to, Sparta Stadion Het Kasteel, for a date with Sparta Rotherdam.
The visitors, SBV Vitesse, were the first to show intents at the beginning of the game as they went ahead to claim a (2-0) lead before the first half courtsey of SBV Vitesse and Danish International, Nikolai Frederiksen, brace at the 16th and 32nd minute.
On re-emergence for the second half, Sparta Rotherdam and Dutch international, Sven Mijnans started the come back for his side with his 71st minute goal and completely went ahead to draw the two sides level at the 90th minute, bringing the game to (2-2) at full time.
Super goalie, Maduka Emilio Okoye, return was indeed a cheering news for the Super Eagles ahead of the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
