The French defender was an important part of Frank Lampard’s team during his time at Stamford Bridge, and he played a big role in Chelsea’s run to Champions League triumph as help the London club to reach the knockout stage under Lampard.

But he saw his game time being limited following Tuchel’s appointment as Frank Lampard’s replacement in January. And he had to leave the club he joined in 2014 in search of regular playing time, and he has been very impressive at West Ham United since joining the Premier League side for a reported fee of €35m in the summer.

The French defender has helped West Ham to beat top Premier League teams like Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham, Leicester City, and most recently Liverpool where he scored the winning header to help his new team beat the Merseyside Red 3-2 on Sunday evening, and the win takes them up to 3rd position on the table with 23 points from 11 games.Zouma was fantastic at the back on Sunday evening as he helped West Ham to defeat Liverpool on Sunday evening.

However, Chelsea will face West Ham away from home on December 4, and Zouma will have the chance to face his former club for the first time since leaving them in the summer. And given Tuchel did not trust him enough to give him enough chance since becoming his new boss, Zouma would look to prove himself against his former team.

Zouma is undoubtedly one of the best headers in the Premier League today

And thanks to his ability to score some important headers, and his new team’s strength in aerial duels, he may even score against them or even stop them from scoring against his new team thanks to his current impressive performances at the back since joining The Hammers.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see him play against his old team, but let’s hope he will not haunt them as would affect their title challenge.
